The map is a way to view Iowa State's campus and look for resources and buildings. Not only can you use the map to find directions to a building by the building’s name, you can also use it for finding things like dining centers, testing centers and even art on campus.View Online
You can use the search function by clicking on the search box at the top of the page. When you do, the app will try to help you find the building for which you are looking. Six buttons will appear under the search bar to help narrow down your search options. These buttons allow you to search by building, college, dining centers, testing centers and art on campus. You can also look through these sections by clicking on the button in the top right of the screen.
After selecting a location through the search menu, the map will center on the location you have selected and drop an icon at the location of the building. By clicking on the icon, you can see the distance to location along with how long it will take to get there, by walking or biking. Farther down the detail view, you can remove the location from your map or find you a bus which will take you closest to your destination. Lastly, you can also learn about the location you have selected by scrolling to the very bottom; There is information about history, use, and other interesting details listed here.
Handicap accessible locations and parking
Click on the gear icon in the top corner of the map tab. From here, you can check boxes by clicking on them for which part you are looking for. You can mark the location of doors and parking which are accessible. The icon next to the name is the icon which they will appear on the map.
